The North Valley Aviation Association is comprised of individuals and groups that enjoy aviation, aircraft and flying. There is no requirement to belong - except an interest in aviation! One of the main interests of the NVAA is to sponsor our youth in the love and dedication of aviation. To that end, we have developed the Chico Summer Flight Academy program, where several local high school students are given the opportunity to participate in a two week course in ground school and in the left seat. Did we mention that the NVAA raises the funds necessary for this program and the students attend free? The Flight Academy was held June 7-18 this year. All contributions welcome!
