Captain John Patrick (Ret) Says, "I would like to invite you to join the NVAA. Our members all share an interest in aviation, and we look forward to sharing your ideas, experiences and company. One of the goals of NVAA is to foster an interest in aviation in our young folks. Toward that end, we sponsor the Chico Summer Flight Academy where students from our local high schools are given the opportunity to fly an airplane during a two week flight instructional program sponsored by the NVAA. This program is free to the students and funded completely through donations to the SFA. "

We would like to extend this invitation to you to join the North Valley Aviation Association.
The mission of NVAA is to promote and protect general aviation and aviation related endeavors in the North Valley of California, with the goal of insuring the existence of airports for our future generations and to help maintain the economic viability of the surrounding communities. Aviation history in the North Valley is colorful and exciting. From Thaddeus Keaarns, the boy pilot who developed and flew an airplane in Chico in 1908 through Chuck Yeager’s aerobatic training in a P-51 during World War II, to the world’s only SR-71 and U-2 base, the North Valley has been a site for many aviation exploits. By joining the NVAA you can help us achieve our mission.

The NVAA is a (501)(c)(3) non-profit organization, and a chapter of the California Pilots Association. All dues and donations are tax deductible. Dues are $35.00 per year. Membership entitles you to our Newsletter, invitations to Special Events, voting privileges to elect Board Members and a few really good BBQs. Join Today !!!
